I have first hand experience marketing information
products! In fact, it's how I got started online…
I've always had a passion for
cars and racing. By the age of 17, I was the owner of two

What
a colossal mistake that was!
I really
thought I had a winning formula. I mean, I knew that the information
I presented in my book was the stuff that the general public
was practically begging for! I explained all of the tips and
tricks to buying a new or used car below dealer cost… I explained
how easy it is to cut your driving costs… I told people how
they could save on insurance and car maintenance… you name
it, I covered it!
But guess
what?! Despite all of the time, energy, and cash I put into
getting the book off the ground, it was total and complete
failure! It flopped big time!
And I
was confused because I knew that the information I was selling
was topnotch stuff!
So that's
when I started paying attention to the advice given to me
by a friend who was setting up his own automotive site on
the Internet. With his help, I developed a very simple web
page. Honestly, I didn't really expect much to happen… but
it wasn't long before I noticed that sales were slowly trickling
in. And then I was stunned! I could hardly believe that
it was only costing me $25 a month in web hosting fees to
market my book.
So, it
was then that I began to take more of an interest in it, and
started promoting the book online in my spare time.
The
results were fantastic!
Within
9 months of putting some real effort into promoting it, "Car
Secrets Revealed" had become the #1 best selling car book
online! In fact, it generated over $140,000 in net profit
in those first months! And to this day -- almost 6
years later -- it is still the #1 best selling car book on
the Internet!
Over
16,700 copies are sold every year for $29.95 apiece… and they
cost $1.55 per book to produce! Seriously! I gross over
$500,000 annually from this one information product alone...
never mind my other products!
At this
point many of you may be wondering how this is possible. How
is it that a book that failed so miserably offline could be
such a smashing success online?
To answer
that, we need to take a moment to consider the pitfalls of
hardcopy publishing...
- Publishing
costs are outrageous! As I soon
learned, there is a thin line between making and losing
money in the world of hardcopy publishing. After the publishing,
packaging, and storage expenses had been dealt with, I had
nothing left! And worse, many of the costs had to be paid

are just SOME of the lessons that I had to learn the hard
way. However, I don't regret this experience… not for
a second! Why? Because I can now fully appreciate the phenomenal
